The selected high-quality Lactobacillus brevis is processed into freeze-dried powder by a freeze-drying process. The ingredients contain Lactobacillus brevis strain and cryoprotectant. The product is in powder form, without visible impurities, and the color is white to light yellow. Lactobacillus brevis is a Gram-positive, rod shaped species of lactic acid bacteria which is heterofermentative, creating CO2, lactic acid and acetic acid or ethanol during fermentation. It can act to inhibit the pathogenic effects of certain gut pathogens.
