Erysipelothrix DNA

Erysipelothrix is a genus of Gram-positive bacteria. E. rhusiopathiae is a pathogen of animals, particularly swine, and can cause a skin infection in humans. Genomic DNA from Erysipelothrix is used in veterinary and clinical microbiology to study its role in disease and for developing diagnostic tests.
