Bacillus coagulans

Bacillus coagulans is a Gram-positive, spore-forming, microaerophilic, lactic-acid producing bacillus. It is resistant to heat, the optimum growth temperature for Bacillus coagulans is 35 to 50°C and the optimum growth pH is 5.5 to 6.5. It has the characteristics of microorganisms used as probiotics.
